The government delegate in Extremadura, José Luis Quintana, accompanied by the General of the Civil Guard of Extremadura, Carlos Sarrión, attended today in La Codosera the opening ceremony of the Office of Attention to the Citizen of the Civil Guard. Quintana has valued the collaboration between the City Council and the Civil Guard for the creation of this Office because it will affect the improvement of the quality of life of citizens, increasing the presence and proximity of agents.
“The great advances are built with small acts and although this initiative may seem little, it is one more of the many initiatives that this government is carrying out to improve the lives of citizens in general and those living in rural areas in particular,” explained the government delegate.
Quintana has recalled that Extremadura has “extraordinary” security data, but that these data are the result of the way the Civil Guard acts, which are a world reference for their proximity to citizens, as well as for their quality, versatility and availability.
