The event that took place in the Casa de la Cultura of the town has awarded Jose Manuel Calderón, Desiderio Vaquerizo and the Assembly of Extremadura.
The first words of the government delegate were for the winners and for the mayor of the municipality for organizing these awards in the name and recognition of a word such as “Concordia”, which means in Latin “with heart” and, of course, for placing Herrera del Duque as a model and example.
During his speech, Quintana recalled that the Region of Siberia has become one of the best places to live, for its attractive environment, for sustainable business initiatives with good public services as an instrument of equality and equity for all, for the empowerment of culture and for the attention to all citizens.
“And this is done by applying the policies that must be applied with everyone in mind. The commitment to the Tourism Sustainability Plans, the improvement in access to the network that is being carried out through the Single Plan and the different programs aimed at rural environments from a future perspective are bearing fruit,” said the delegate.
Finally, Quintana explained that Herrara del Duque is committed to working together, to walk in the same direction and in favor of those who need it most looking to the future with enthusiasm, that is why it has gone from having 528 unemployed in May 2013 to reducing it practically by half and currently having 234 unemployed.
“Nuca can build the future with hatred and resentment, which is why it is so important that harmony is one of the values to defend and teach our young people”, concluded the delegate.
