The Government Delegation in Extremadura and the Red Cross have facilitated the transfer to the polling stations of 362 voters until 14:00 hours today.
The Red Cross has transferred 120 voters (73 in Badajoz and 47 in Cáceres) from the 32 coordination points that have been deployed throughout the region.
The mechanism for the transfer of voters residing in the 35 urban centres that do not have an electoral college, established by the Government Delegation, has facilitated the movement of 242 voters (140 in Badajoz and 102 in Cáceres) to their voting points.
Participation in Extremadura until 14:00 hours was 28.13%; 10.99% less than in 2019, but 3.49% more than in 2014 which was the last in which the elections to the European Parliament did not coincide with any other election in Spain.
