The General Directorate of Traffic has planned around 153,000 trips in Extremadura for the 'Special Traffic Operation 1st of May'. The Operation begins today, April 30, starting at 3:00 p.m. and will end on Sunday, May 5, at 4:00 p.m.
Of the total movements, 91,800 belong to the province of Badajoz and 61,200 to that of Cáceres.
The roads with the greatest traffic intensity in the province of Badajoz are the A-5, A-66 and the N-430. Likewise, in the province of Cáceres the roads are the A-5, A-66 and EX -A1.

As for the vehicle, it is advisable to check levels, tires, brakes, direction and lighting. Wipers in good condition before the possibility of rains. The driver has to be rested, without taking substances incompatible with driving. Make use of the safety systems, belt, SRI, helmet. Do not use your mobile phone or GPS while you are traveling. Also, keep the safe distance in the circulation, the proper speed and make use of the maneuver signals.
