The government delegate also stressed in this act the importance of police forces to generate safe environments as a guarantee to promote the social and economic development of any territory. "The citizens of Don Benito and Villanueva de la Serena have always been very enterprising, we are undoubtedly one of the economic and development focuses of Extremadura. We have an exceptional environment to develop the future business projects that our region needs; but for this we have the obligation to create a safe environment and in that objective, from today you have an important responsibility", he assured.
Quintana took advantage of his visit to Don Benito to have words of thanks for the former Inspector-Chief of the Don Benito Villanueva Police Station, Pedro Doncel, who retired last year after a decade in office and a life dedicated to providing his services to the citizens as an agent of the National Police.
