The delegate of the Government in Extremadura, José Luis Quintana, accompanied by the subdelegate of the Government in Cáceres, José Antonio Garcia, the General of the Civil Guard, Carlos Sarrión, and the lieutenant colonel of the Command of Cáceres, Rafael Roldán, visited this morning the search area of the missing neighbor in Hinojal, Vicente Sánchez, where he highlighted the important work that the troops of this body are doing.
During his visit, Quintana has detailed the search work that is being carried out by the PEGASO group of the Civil Guard for the location of the missing person through the use of air means, such as drones. In this sense, he explained that “the Civil Guard is doing their investigations and we have to understand that they are professionals, they know how to do it and logically they do not stop investigating the facts”.
Visit to the Civil Guard Command in Cáceres
After his visit to Hinojal, the delegate the Government has traveled to the Civil Guard Command in Cáceres to make an official visit and know the different negotiates that compose it, coinciding with the celebration of the open day for schoolchildren of the province where a total of 650 students have participated.
The visit has been used to attend the delivery of a vehicle by the Provincial Council of Cáceres for the VioGen team of this Command. Quintana has thanked the president of the provincial institution, Miguel Ángel Morales, for his commitment in the fight against this social scourge. “This vehicle is going to benefit absolutely all of society, but mainly a collective that we have to protect that are women who suffer from gender violence.”
