The deputy delegate of the Government in Cáceres, José Antonio García, together with the mayor of Piornal, Javier Prieto, have co-chaired today the Local Security Board on the occasion of “Jarramplas”, National Tourist Interest Festival, which will be held on January 19 and 20.
The device, which begins on Friday 18 and continues until the morning of Sunday, January 21, will be composed of 26 agents of Citizen Security, 10 components of the USECIC to which must be added 24 patrols of the Traffic Group, which will be in charge of monitoring and control of the accesses and exits to the locality.
Civil Protection will have around 40 volunteers from Piornal and other locations such as Guadalupe, Talayuela, Jerte, Navalmoral de la Mata, Almaraz and Cabezuela del Valle.
In addition, the Red Cross provides two basic life support ambulances, a rapid intervention vehicle, as well as doctors and nurses.
In addition to the subdelegate of the Government in Cáceres and the local council, the meeting was attended by the Lieutenant Colonel of the Cáceres Command, the Lieutenant of the Plasencia Traffic Detachment, agents of the Civil Guard, the Deputy Mayor, as well as representatives of Civil Protection and the Red Cross.
