The deputy delegate of the Government in Cáceres, José Antonio García together with the mayor of Coria, Almudena Domingo, have presided this morning the Local Security Board in which the security device has been established for the festivities of San Juan, which will be held from June 23 to 29.
The device will be composed of 128 agents of the Civil Guard, 28 members of the USECIC present during the weekend, to which must be added a government delegate for each of the 17 bullfighting celebrations. The Traffic Group will provide support with more than 90 personnel, monitoring the access and exits to the locality with alcohol and drug controls.
The Local Police will have 14 personnel, making a total of 72 services.
To ensure the safety of all attendees, eight cameras and a drone will be enabled monitoring bullfighting celebrations in real time.
In terms of health services, three nurses will be adapted, one of them portable, an operating room, a PAC point and three ambulances.
Finally, the Fire Brigade will be reinforced and there will be an endowment in “La Cursor” during the weekend.
The meeting was attended by the Lieutenant Colonel, Commander of the Civil Guard of Cáceres, the Head of the Local Police, the Lieutenant Head of the Plasencia Traffic Detachment, firefighters and the Heritage and Tourism technician in the City of Coria.
