The DGT expects more than 626,000 trips on the roads of the C.Valenciana during the special operation Return of the summer
These displacements could be increased by the return phase of Operation Strait Pass that mainly affects the circulation on the A-7 and AP-7
Special traffic management measures will be established in Alicante, Castellón and Valencia
The DGT calls for prudence and underlines the need to respect traffic rules
In the summer period, there have been more than 13.7 million trips in the C.Valenciana, 2.5% more than those registered last summer in this territory
The special operation Return of the summer 2025 takes place in the Valencian Community from 15:00 hours on this Friday until 24:00 hours on Sunday, August 31. Therefore, special traffic regulation and management measures will be established these days that will affect Alicante, Castellón and Valencia.
In this special operation, a total of 5,060,000 long-distance trips are expected nationwide, of which 626,934 trips correspond to the Valencian Community.
In addition to these return movements due to the end of the holidays, there will be a significant influx of vehicles that will continue to be produced on the main axes and border crossings through the return phase of Operation Strait Pass. The latest phase of the OPE (July 15 to September 15) further increases the number of long-distance movements in the Mediterranean Corridor (A-7 and AP-7).
The DGT calls for the prudence of all drivers. It stresses the need to respect safety standards: set speed, safety distances, turning off the mobile phone and wearing the safety belt or child restraint system well in the case of minors and resting every two hours in the case of long journeys, among others.
During the two summer months, the DGT has planned 100,848,000 long-distance journeys throughout the national eremu, of which 13,710,145 in the Valencian Community, 2.25% more than those registered last summer in this territory.
