The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has visited together with the president of the State Society of Agrarian Infrastructures (SEIASA) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Francisco Rodríguez Mulero, and the mayor of Guadassuar, Vicente Estruch, the actions of the Government of Spain after the dana for the recovery of rural roads and agrarian infrastructures of the town. These works represent an investment of more than two million euros, according to Barnabas.
The delegate has specified that the investment in rural roads exceeds 700,000 euros with which the deterioration in the firm is repaired due to the effect of the water. To this is added the aid that will be received by the three irrigating communities of the locality that amount to about 843,000 euros and the more than 600,000 euros for farms. At the moment it will act in 269 plots.
Bernabé also recalled that the investment that the Government of Spain will allocate to the repair or reconstruction of municipal infrastructures exceeds 6 million euros plus another 2 million euros that will be invested in the repair of the integral water cycle.
This investment highlights “the absolute commitment of the Government of Spain to achieve “the improved reconstruction” of the affected areas. “Reconstruction should serve not to stay as before but to improve, to make us more resilient and better,” said the delegate.
Performances
On rural roads, the Government of Spain carries out work on embankments, waterway works, conditioning and levelling and contribution of zahors so that “the entire rural environment of Guadassuar can return to normality as soon as possible”.
At the moment, the cleaning and milling of bituminous pavement has been carried out in an area of 1,400 square meters. In addition, action is being taken in the preparation of roads on an area of 8,500 square meters. To this is added the base construction with a contribution of zahorras in 2,880 square meters and the paving with hot agglomeration of 5 centimeters in 6,000 square meters. Also, a 2,750 cubic meter protective fence is being built.
As far as the irrigation communities of the municipality are concerned, the works to be carried out include cleaning at the obstruction of the main canal of the Acequia Real del Júcar of 1,000 meters in length, cleaning of ditches and the construction of base with contribution of zahorras in 5,000 square meters.
