The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has attended the exhibition of some of the units of the National Police that are part of the security device of Fallas 2025. This event has shown the Falleras Grandes of Valencia, Berta Peiró and Lucía García and their courts of honor, the units of Canine Guides, Cavalry, Subsoil, the Special Operative Security Group (GOES), the Police Intervention Unit (UIP), Air Media and the Prevention and Reaction Unit (UPR).
Bernabé recalled that more than 2,800 agents of the National Police make up the security device for the city of València during the Fallas of 2025 to which the 600 troops of the Civil Guard are added. As explained, the National Police perform specific services in the main events of these festivities (mascletaes, fireworks castles and Nit del Foc, flower offering, cremà, etc.) and the Civil Guard, in addition to intensifying the control of pyrotechnic products, increases the surveillance of the districts that surround the city, carry out alcohol and drug consumption controls and monitor the critical infrastructures in its area of competence. Bernabé thanked the more than 3,000 members of the State Security Forces and Corps “for the work they are doing to ensure that the operation guarantees security during the holidays.”
The exhibition was attended by the Superior Chief of Police in the Valencian Community, Carlos Gajero, among other police officers
