The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has visited together with the president of the State Society of Agrarian Infrastructures (SEIASA), Francisco Rodríguez Mulero, and the mayor of Godelleta, Amparo Pardo, the actions of the Government of Spain after the dana for the recovery of the agricultural roads of the town. As the delegate has advanced, the Government has allocated more than € 27M to the recovery of 766 agricultural plots affected by the dana in this municipality. Of the total, the investment in rural roads and the recovery of infrastructures of the Community of Regantes of San Pedro Apostle is close to one million euros. Godelleta, as he has pointed out, has received more than €16M from the aid to local entities for the works of repair or restitution or reconstruction of infrastructure, equipment or facilities and services of municipal ownership of the Government of Spain.
Rural road performances
According to the delegate, the main actions that are being carried out and that are planned are the cleaning of the platform of the roads and subsequent management of waste generated; the repair of the lateral slopes of the affected roads through the construction of new walls and the replacement of the upper layer of the road to the state before the damage generated to ensure the support of the loads of heavy vehicles that access the farms. In addition, it has carried out the reconstruction of ditches, drains, road passes and access to adjacent agricultural plots and the replacement of the services necessary for the correct operation and use of the municipal road network linked to agricultural spaces.
