The government delegate to the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, highlighted “the record summer” in which “there has been no week without tenders on the roads of the Valencian Community” by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (Mitma). Bernabé, who met with the head of the Demarcation of Roads in the Valencian Community of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (Mitma), Guillermo Llopis, said that these are “unprecedented investments – tenders, awards and formalizations – that have reached more than €420M between the months of July and August”.
These figures highlight “the commitment of the Government of Spain to improving the mobility, road safety and competitiveness of the Valencian Community”. Thus, he recalled that, since 2023, the Ministry of Transport has invested more than 2,000 M€ in mobility in the C. Valencian.
Actions in the metropolitan area of Valéncia
The delegate pointed out that, in the metropolitan area of Valencia, “to improve the mobility of access to the city of the more than 300,000 vehicles a day that pass through Valencia”, the Ministry of Transport has invested 202 M€ this summer. Among the “essential and necessary actions for València and its metropolitan area”, Bernabé highlighted the definitive approval of the route to improve the stretch of the By-Pass of Valencia on the A-7 for € 128M; the € 56M for the project of tracing for the direct connection between the V-30 and A-3, with a bridge saving the River Turia or € 21.2 M for the improvement of the link of the V-30 and CV-30.

In addition, the delegate has highlighted, among other investments approved so far in summer, the € 19.8M for the complementary works of the variant of Benissa in the N-332; the € 45M for the contract of conservation of roads in the province of Valencia; the € 12.1M for the contract of conservation of roads in the province of Castellón; the € 8.1 M of the works to promote an active and sustainable mobility in the crossings of Vinaròs; the € 3.76M for the works of adaptation to pedestrians and cyclists of the N-332
