The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has attended together with the Superior Chief of Police in the Valencian Community, Carlos Gajero, the presentation of a tram unit of the FGV vinyl with police images, in commemoration of the bicentenary of the National Police.
The delegate of the Government thanked all the administrations that have joined this act “of recognition of the work carried out by the men and women who make up the National Police, a security corps reference in terms of modernization and effectiveness.” In its 200 years, “the National Police has favored that Spain be a better country and that society live in peace and freedom,” added Bernabé.
The Government of Spain “is convinced that it is necessary to improve the work of the State Security Forces and Forces and the personnel” and therefore, “today there are more police and civil guards than ever before”. “Security,” he stressed, “must be an absolutely white issue outside the political debate. The Government Delegation will work on this because it is deserved by the State Security Forces and Corps, which play their lives every day, and by all citizens.”
