The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has attended the days of the Civil Guard of Castellón for prevention and protection against cybercrime. Barnabas has reported that “one in five crimes are currently being discussed in cyberspace.” Hence, he added, “the importance of the formation of the State Security Bodies and Forces in the fight against this new type of crime.” Cybercrime, he said, has grown in recent years, but also “the effectiveness of security forces that combat cybercrime has increased very significantly.”
In this regard, he stressed that “the need to train more and better to be warned against these crimes, not only the Security Forces and Bodies but also public agencies and private companies.” For all these reasons, Barnabas stressed the importance of these days and “the ambitious training policy developed by the Ministry of the Interior to have the best agents”. “More training is necessary, we have the most trained professionals, we continue in that line of dissemination and awareness of the citizens, but we also have the best professionals to fight cybercrime,” he concluded.
