The Subdelegate of the Government in Valencia meets with representatives of the neighborhood associations of Castellar-Oliveral, Pinedo, Font d’En Corts, the Unificadora de La Punta and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations
Rodríguez has agreed to hold coordination meetings with neighbors and the State Security Forces and Corps and to hold informative sessions in the districts, within the Greater Plan
The neighborhood entities value “positively the meeting for the prompt response and active listening to the manifested demands”
The subdelegate of the Government in the province of Valencia, José Rodríguez, accompanied by members of the Civil Guard and the National Police, held this morning a meeting with the representatives of the neighborhood entities of the districts of Castellar-Oliveral, Pinedo, Font d’En Corts, the Unificadora de La Punta and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations.
In this meeting the subdelegate has transferred to the associations the work developed by the State Security Forces and Bodies in the field of citizen security. This work has been intensified, on the part of the Civil Guard, in terms of surveillance.
Rodríguez has highlighted the process of investigating the cases that concern the neighbors, in which both the Civil Guard and the National Police are working, aware of the security demands of the different districts.
At the same time, the Government Subdelegation has explained the Greater Security Plan, for the prevention and improvement of the security of the elderly, through informative talks so that the citizens know the work of the FFCC, as well as prevention councils. In fact, it has committed itself to the implementation of the Plan, with the realization of such informative sessions in the different districts of the south of Valencia.
On the other hand, Subdelegate Rodríguez has agreed to hold coordination meetings with the neighborhood entities, the Civil Guard and the National Police and has recalled the importance of collaboration and coordination of all police forces to achieve an improvement of security in the area.
The neighborhood entities have valued “positively” the meeting held with the subdelegate of the Government in Valencia and the representatives of the Security Forces of the State, “not only for the prompt response, but also for the treatment received, for the active listening of all the observations and demands expressed,” before the requests for more security in the neighborhoods of the south of the city. Likewise, the associations have stressed the importance that “we are not degraded or remote areas, we are consolidated neighborhoods, metropolitan area and peri-urban garden, with all the rights and dignity to have the necessary services and attention”.
