The delegate of the Government, Pilar Bernabé, has accompanied the president of Adif, Ángel Contreras, to the signing of the agreement with Generalitat Valenciana and Alicante City Council that will allow the construction of the Intermodal Station of Alicante.
Bernabé highlighted the commitment of the Government of Spain to this infrastructure, assuring that “from the first moment, when the previous government of Generalitat started the project, it had the support of the Government of Spain”.
Bernabé recalled that Adif will cede, free of charge, the land that will allow “Alicante to have an infrastructure very demanded by the citizens. We have fulfilled, driving this work from the first moment. Now it is Generalitat that must comply.”
By signing the general protocol of actions, Adif and Adif High Speed (AV) have made available 25,500 m2 of land - at zero cost to the regional administration - to accelerate the project of the terminal that will make possible the implementation of the large multimodal node of the city.
