The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has visited the business fabric of Aspe (Alicante), in particular, the family company Grupo Soledad, leaders in production and distribution in the tyre and rubber industry; and the Pastry Juanfran Asencio, which has perfected, generation after generation, the more than one hundred elaborations it offers.
The Pérez family, said the delegate, “is an example of entrepreneurship for 40 years and they have been visionaries because they have been able to apply the circular economy and recycling in the tyre industry.”
Later, on his visit to the pastry worker Juanfran Asencio, Barnabas pointed out the care with which they select raw materials and the reinvention of the traditional recipes of the surrounding regions, which they elaborate.
In this visit, Pilar Bernabé has expressed “the direct involvement of the Government of Spain in the province of Alicante, with a committed investment in strategic areas such as communication and connectivity”.
Bernabé has assured that the Government of Pedro Sánchez “has investments worth 1,600 million euros in the province, which include the execution of 80% of the route of the Mediterranean Corridor and the connection of the third lane of Crevillent, which connects the south of Alicante”, among others. With this, he has nuanced, he intends to “increase the competitiveness of the province, thus responding to the need of those who lead its economy, which are entrepreneurs and businesswomen of Alicante”.
The delegate stressed that the region of Medio Vinalopó “is a prosperous region and an economic engine at an industrial and business level, and also very relevant in the Christmas festivities, in which the province of Alicante is a reference at an international level”.
