The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has closed the round table 35 years by your side organized by the Civil Guard on the occasion of the anniversary of the incorporation of women to the Armed Institute.
The delegate has acknowledged that “important steps have been taken in the gradual incorporation of women into the Armed Institute,” but has insisted that “there is still a long way to go, such as improving those conditions that promote family and work conciliation.” Barnabas has encouraged the civil guards to “opt for higher positions on the ladder, breaking the glass ceilings faced by the women of our time.”
She has also recognized “the fundamental role of women in the Civil Guard and their value as referents for all girls who want to develop this profession.”
The delegate thanked the General of the Sixth Zone, Arturo Prieto, for holding this “interesting round table where great women who have told their experiences have participated”.
