The Delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, attended the 7th business event for the Mediterranean Corridor that was held this morning at the Ifema Congress Palace in Madrid.
After this event, the delegate stressed that the works of the Corridor “advance like never before” thanks to the commitment of the Government with this infrastructure. In this regard, he recalled that “from 2018 to 2023, the Government of Spain has invested €5,500M in the Mediterranean Corridor”. Currently, the delegate added, “it has been achieved that 100% of the route is planned and that 80% is in works”. The works, he stressed, “go at a good pace”. Faced with “this bet of the Executive”, the delegate has counterposed the actions of other governments whose ministers came to “vote against the inclusion of the Mediterranean Corridor in the trans-European transport routes”.
