The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has advanced that “the Forces and Security Corps of the State will guarantee that next October 9 will be the feast of all, the feast of coexistence and concord.” The delegate who chaired with the mayor of Valencia, Mª José Catalá, the local security board on the occasion of the Day of the Valencian Community, said that more than 1,500 National Police agents will guarantee security during this day to which the Civil Guard troops linked to the control of gunpowder and traffic in the accesses to the city will be added.
To this end, Barnabas has announced “a top-level security device: Intervention units, civilian police, canine units and drone and anti-drone units with which normality will be guaranteed on this day.” The delegate has also advanced that the operation will also work in the days before the holiday, especially in the pyrotechnic events of October 7 and 8.
Barnabas thanked “the total coordination between administrations” for the development of this deployment. A cooperation that, according to him, “has always been cordial, effective, loyal and very professional of the National Police and the Local Police”
