· The until now deputy director general of Teacher Training replaces Araceli Poblador for his incorporation in the electoral lists of the PSOE in the province of Alicante
The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has confirmed Carlos Sánchez as the new subdelegate of the Government in Alicante. Sánchez will replace Araceli Poblador who leaves office for his incorporation in the electoral lists of the PSOE in the province of Alicante for the general elections of the next 23J.
Bernabé thanked Poblador for “his solid commitment” to public service, while highlighting “his good work in the development and monitoring of all the policies implemented by the Government of Spain, some implemented in such difficult times as the DANA that devastated part of the province of Alicante in 2019, the Covid pandemic, the management of the crisis of the refugees of Ukraine or the forest fires suffered in recent years”.
Bernabé highlighted that Carlos Sánchez accedes to the Government Subdelegation “at a key moment for democracy where a government focused on economic growth is needed, defending constitutional and democratic values and attending to the needs of the Alicante and Alicante women, thus following the great work carried out by his predecessor.”
Carlos Sánchez holds a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Valencia and has until now been Assistant General Director of Teacher Training at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of the Generalitat Valenciana. Sánchez will take office next Monday, June 19, at 11.00am, in the Subdelegation of the Government in Alicante.
