This agreement aims to carry out a series of measures consisting of training, awareness raising in the detection and prevention of sexual violence, as well as the promotion of gender equality in the sports field.
Football is a very important dissemination tool having in our city a number of practitioners greater than eight thousand people. Therefore, the actions that are going to be carried out intend to strengthen training and awareness in issues related to the detection and prevention of sexual violence.
The initiative seeks to prepare professionals and the general public to identify, prevent and address situations of sexual violence, promoting a safer and more equitable environment in the community.
Programs
The collaboration involves the development of specific training programs and awareness campaigns to eradicate behaviors and attitudes that perpetuate gender violence, such as:
1. Training or for Referees and Coaches.
2. Placement of Advertising Billboards: Alfonso Murube Stadium, Campo José Benoliel, Campo Emilio Cózar, Campo José Martínez Pirri; throughout the 2024-2025 season.
3. Events and Campaigns:
- November 14th: Signing of the Collaboration Agreement and Presentation of the Fence at the Alfonso Murube Stadium.
- 15-17 November: Fence at the Alfonso Murube Stadium. Inn of all the categories of the base in all the matches behind toblerone of 200x60 with the same design of the fences.
-18-21 November: Campaign “Card against Gender Violence” with a referee showing a purple card.
- 22-24 November: Inn of all categories in all parties behind a 200x60 toblerone on the occasion of the International Day against the Elimination of Violence against Women.
- Territorial Selections: In the Spanish U14-U16 Football Championships; U19-U16 Futsal Championships that will take place during the month of November 2025, players will wear purple armbands on the right arm, provided they have the approval of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
This agreement represents an important step in the commitment of the AGE in Ceuta to combat violence against women and contribute to a society where everyone can live without fear of sexual violence.
