The Holy Week of Ceuta, our Holy Week, is here. Once again, seven days of religious worship return that Christian tradition dedicates to remembering the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that for our city is a reference event at a religious and cultural level.
The Holy Week of Ceuta has undoubtedly gained greater prominence thanks to the perseverance in daily work, the effort and the responsibility involved in organizing traditions of this nature. Therefore, from this space that is offered to me, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate, thank and offer my sincere congratulations to the Council of Brotherhoods and to each and every one of our Brotherhoods, which with so much affection organize our Holy Week.
But his work is not only limited to these days, but goes beyond that we speak of a daily and sustained commitment over time with works of religious art that we admire every time we enter churches, chapels and other places of worship.
Finally, I would like to express my best wishes for the Holy Week that we are about to begin and a happy season of penance for all the brotherhoods that share the passage of their headlines through the streets of Ceutis.
Happy Easter to everyone
