The objective is to "raise awareness of the problem of violence against women", in addition to providing victims of violence who require it with basic information on the different specialized resources available to them.
To this end, the Government Delegation in Ceuta, through the Unit for Coordination against Violence against Women, has trained the staff of the MUFACE office and has distributed graphic material, consisting of a guide with information on how to act in a case of violence, as well as resources for the victims themselves. It also includes information on what male violence is, its different manifestations, and how to detect it.
In addition, stickers have been delivered with a QR code linked to the Violeta Point Guide to act against Male Violence, which aims to point out that this space is a "safe place" for victims, where they can receive information and accompaniment if they need it.
The implementation of the violet points is part of the activities carried out by the Coordination Unit against Violence against Women, and is part of the catalogue of urgent measures of the Improvement and Modernization Plan promoted by different ministries of the Government of Spain, and also involves a change of focus in public policies of attention to victims, taking decisive steps to make visible and involve the whole of society in the fight against gender violence, also bringing comprehensive services closer to victims through their environment, thus facilitating all information on how to act in a case of violence against women in public bodies.
In short, to make available to the functionary tools that allow to give a comprehensive attention in the public space.
