Rafael García Rodríguez met this morning with the President of the Port Authority of Algeciras, Gerardo Landaluce, to discuss issues of interest related to maritime connections between both sides of the strait.
The development of Operation Strait Pass 2023 and the residents’ lane in the Port of Algeciras are some of the issues that have been addressed in this first contact.
In addition, it has been corroborated that the works of reinforcement, replacement and renovation of beams and boards of the three trousers of the Port of Algeciras will not affect the OPE 2023, since these will be paralyzed during the summer season.
The meeting was also attended by Juan Manuel Doncel and Adolfo Orozco, President and Director of the Port Authority of Ceuta, respectively.
The Government Delegate thanked the President of the Port Authority of Algeciras for his interest and willingness to collaborate on all issues related to Ceuta.
