The government delegate presided over this meeting, which was attended by the Minister of Presidency and Government of the Government of Ceuta, where the security device for the Patron Saint’s Festivities was designed.
The agents of the State Security Forces and Corps along with the Local Police forces have configured a well-coordinated operation to ensure that citizens enjoy these holidays with absolute tranquility. This device will have the participation of the personnel that have been deemed necessary, a figure similar to that of previous years, distributed in shifts throughout each day of the fair.
A permanent nighttime fire department checkpoint and a group of Civil Protection volunteers complete this task force.
As usual, the agents will control both the fairgrounds and their accesses, as well as the entrances to the city through both the port and the border.
As every year, once the festivities are over, the “End of Fair” operation will be activated to prevent migrants from using the fair attractions to clandestinely access the peninsula.
To facilitate access in these days of maximum crowding of people in the fairgrounds, the use of public transport is recommended.
Attendees of the meeting:
- Government Delegate
- Counselor of Presidency and Government
