The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration has agreed to annex to the Ministry of Territorial Policy a property owned by Social Security, located on Calle Real de Ceuta. The secondment has been agreed for a period of 30 years.
The place, which was unused, will be used for the provision of services to the citizen by the Delegation of the Government of Ceuta. In particular, it will house a registration assistance office, an authorisations and sanctions unit, an occupational risk prevention unit, a gender violence unit, an immigration office and a free legal aid commission.
In addition, in the premises, of 1,687 square meters, the Development, Work and Health areas of the Government Delegation will also be located. In short, it is about putting into value a unique and central building to improve the attention that the citizens of Ceuta receive from the AGE.
This ascription is protected by the reform of Royal Decree 1221/92 on Social Security assets approved last January, which simplifies and facilitates collaboration between Social Security and other administrations, allowing the use of properties that are not being used to ascribe them for public utility purposes.
