The Delegation of the Government and the Port Authority of Ceuta have agreed on the date of placing on the lane of residents in the port area. It will start operating on July 28 and will be operational from 6:00 to 01:00h, until September 03.
For this year, taking into account that the construction works of the new maritime station have narrowed the lane that was normally used, the parking next to the current maritime station will be used as a storage area for resident vehicles.
On July 21, the first test will be carried out to check the route and the correct operation of this new mechanism, as well as to finalize the changes that are necessary before its implementation. Both the Government Delegation and the Port Authority apologise in advance for the inconvenience that this test may cause.
The purpose of this measure is for the works and Operation Strait Pass to interfere as little as possible with both the movements and the daily life of the Ceutians.
In addition, from the Government Delegation and Port Authority it is recommended to go at least one hour before boarding, as well as to purchase tickets well in advance.
