The Government Delegate, Rafael García Rodríguez, has held a meeting with representatives of the four religious communities of Ceuta. García has met with Francisco Jesús Fernández Alcedo, vicar of the Diocese of Cadiz in Ceuta; Laarbi Mateis, president of the Union of Islamic Communities of Spain (CIE) in our city; José Bentolila, president of the Israelite Community and Ramesh Chandiramani, president of the Hindu Community. García has made himself available to the representatives of the religious communities to continue defending the interests of Ceuta and the Ceutis.
In the meetings, the Government Delegate highlighted peaceful coexistence as one of the fundamental values of our city and encouraged them to continue defending, which he considers an example and model to be followed by all.
In addition, Rafael García has valued collaboration and loyalty between entities as an essential element to face the challenges of the future.
