The General Secretariat of Vocational Training of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has published the Resolution granting grants on a competitive basis for the development of other training programs, adapted to groups with specific needs in the cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
These programs are intended to provide training itineraries for people from groups at risk of social and labor exclusion and who are outside the Educational System. That is, through a specific training that improves their employability and allows them to reincorporate the Educational System.
The total duration is 900 hours,including internships in companies and are intended for people over 17 years of age, or over 16 years of age who are out of school or who prove the status of unaccompanied foreign minors.
Grants have been awarded for 14 specific training programmes in Ceuta with a total amount of 650,000 euros.
The entity Teachers for Equality will develop the training programs of Auxiliary Operations of Administrative Services, Auxiliary Activities of Commerce and Operations of Recording and Processing of Data and Documents.
The General Union of Workers will develop the training programs of Body and Facial Aesthetics, Hairdressing Assistant, Administration and Customer Service and Cutting and Dressmaking.
Workers’ Commissions will carry out the training programs of Basic Restaurant Bar Operations, Basic Cooking Operations and Basic Pastry Operations.
For its part, the Red Cross will launch the training programs of Building and Local Cleaning Assistants, Information Assistant, Factory and Deck Masonry Assistants and Trade and Warehouse Assistant.
The implementation of the specific training programs must begin within a maximum period of 20 working days after the publication of the Resolution granting the call for applications and must end before December 31, 2023.
The completion will have effects of partial accreditation to obtain the corresponding basic professional titles and the certificates of professionalism.
