The autonomous city has closed 2022 with 9,858 unemployed. In the month of December, 605 fewer unemployed were registered than in the previous month, which represents a decrease of 5.78%.
At the national level, the number of unemployed persons registered in the Offices of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), at the end of December, has decreased by 43,727 persons (-1.52%) in relation to the previous month. Thus, the registered unemployment stood at 2,837,653, moving further away from the barrier of the 2.9 million unemployed people.
Compared to December 2021, year-on-year unemployment has fallen by 268,252 people (-8.64%) in an international economic context that remains marked by uncertainty.
