Barcelona, March 14, 2023.- The Government delegate in Catalonia, Maria Eugènia Gay, and the Prefect of the Eastern Pyrenees, Rodrigue Furcy, signed this Tuesday the update of the Binational Relief Plan (PSB) of the Perthús tunnel.
Both countries sealed this security agreement on the intrafronterizo railway crossing on December 15, 2010, which was updated on July 20, 2014 and which is updated again on this date.
This plan aims to enable management and limit the possible consequences of an emergency situation in the Perthus tunnel. On the French side it is composed: the prefect of the Eastern Pyrenees, the director of Civil Protection, Pompiers, Gendarmerie and SAMU.
