THE MASTER PLAN FOR COEXISTENCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF SAFETY IN EDUCATIONAL CENTERS AND THEIR ENVIRONMENTS Since 2007, it has been successfully developed by the Government of Spain, through the Delegations and Sub-Delegations of the Government throughout the national territory.

In our community, the Master Plan, perfectly consolidated, responds in a coordinated and effective manner, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of the Junta de Castilla y León, to the safety of minors in educational centers and their environments through a surveillance system by the State Security Forces. At the same time, it responds to the demand for training of the centres on different topics: crime prevention, bullying, hate crimes, violence against women, drugs, internet risks, road safety, environmental protection, etc. through, mainly, talks given by experts of the National Police and Civil Guard, exhibitions and other activities of interest. The training actions are aimed at students, parents’ associations and management teams, thus strengthening police cooperation with educational authorities and coexistence with the school community.

As a novelty, in this course, we will incorporate new activities in the field of Civil Protection, which promote prevention and self-protection against risks and emergencies such as earthquakes, fires and floods.

The Government Subdelegations, through the coordinators of the master plan in the provinces, are in charge of managing the requests of the educational centers that, previously, must send their requests by email.
