Nicanor Sen approves and reaffirms the Government’s collaboration with the institutions of Palencia

May 27, 2024. The Government delegate in Castilla y León, Nicanor Sen, on Monday made an institutional visit to the province of Palencia within the round of meetings he is carrying out throughout the territories of the Community with the aim of "bringing closer and reaffirming the collaboration of the Government of Spain with the different institutions".
The day of work, which has also allowed him to gather the demands of the territory, has begun in the City Council of the capital, where he has been received by its mayor, Miriam Andrés, and members of his government team, with whom Sen has addressed different issues of interest to the city.
The delegate then went to the Provincial Council, where he held a meeting with its president, Ángeles Armisén, to whom he transferred “the important role that municipalities carry out in rural areas” and to whom he made available the collaboration of the Executive. Likewise, the president of the provincial institution has informed the delegate of the demands and needs of the municipalities and the status of the different projects.
In two meetings, the delegate has called for dialogue and institutional collaboration to reach agreements for the benefit of the citizens. Sen, who has described the meetings as “very positive”, has committed to transferring the heads of the corresponding ministries of the petitions received from both the City Council and the Provincial Council.
Subsequently, the delegate has moved to the Subdelegation of the Government in Palencia where the subdelegate, Ángel Miguel Gutiérrez, with whom he has made a detailed tour of the actions that are taking place in the province of Palencia. Finally, Sen has visited the Subdelegation of Defense, headed by Colonel Jesús Manuel López Moreno.
The government delegate in Castilla y León will return in the next few weeks to the province of Palencia to complete the round of institutional visits.
