March 7, 2024.- The Government Subdelegation has hosted today a coordination meeting to avoid incidents in access and departures to La Pinilla, mainly during days and times when a greater influx of people with worse weather conditions is expected.
The meeting, chaired by the deputy delegate of the Government, Marian Rueda, was attended by the lieutenant colonel of the Civil Guard, Benito Donate, accompanied by members of this security corps; the provincial head of Traffic, Pedro Pastor; the mayor of Cerezo de Arriba, Juan Antonio Gómez; the mayor of Riaza, Benjamín Cerezo; the territorial secretary of the Delegation of the Junta in Segovia, Ana Isabel Fuente; the heads of the territorial services of the Junta de Mobility and Transformation Santos Florez.
The meeting had the objective of establishing coordination measures to minimize possible problems such as those registered last Saturday, when snow and cold made it difficult to move people and exit a musical event in La Pinilla.
At the meeting, it has been agreed to install signals at certain events informing that access to the station will be done only by SG-115 and exit by SG-114, to facilitate transit with the best possible security guarantees. This measure is contemplated in the traffic regulation plan of La Pinilla approved years ago.
The informative signs will be installed in those days and time sections in which the arrival of large numbers of visitors to the La Pinilla station is expected, for different reasons, such as musical events, such as the one to be held next Saturday, when weather forecasts indicate the possibility of snowfall.
