February 26, 2024.- The Civil Guard of Zamora held the presentation of the III Conference on Involuntary Disappearances of People in Rural Areas in the morning of today, in the premises of its quartering in this capital.
As in the previous two editions, these days will be held at the Ramos Carrión Theater on March 12 and 13, where there will be the participation of about twenty speakers who will develop topics related to involuntary disappearances.
These days are held with the objectives of training, disseminating and raising awareness, to all groups that in one way or another can have a relationship or intervene in this type of disappearances, professionals, citizens, associations and various groups in rural areas, as well as personnel related to the care of older people.
The end of these two days is to raise awareness and help to dimension the problem, valuing all kinds of work related to the care of our elders, more in a province like ours within the so-called “depopulated Spain”. The different panels that will be held during these days, will deal with several thematic relationships with this problem, treating these topics from different points of view, for a better training of the attendees
Parallel to the development of the days, during the day of Tuesday 12, from 10:00 to 19:00 hours, you can visit on the terrace of the Ramos Carrión theater an exhibition of media used by the different specialties of the Civil Guard that usually work in this type of disappearances.
The days are open to all kinds of public and professionals, and can be followed in person by registration in the email za-cmd-zamora-jornadas@guardiacivil.org, or freely by streaming, in the links:
