Vinuesa will build an eco-efficient and centralized point of sale for meat products
Thanks to the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain and within the project “Vinuesa en tu mesa” of the city council of Visontino
February 26, 2024.- The Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain, financed with Next Generation EU funds, subsidizes the construction of an eco-efficient and centralized point of sale for meat products from Vinuesa. In addition, this same action contemplates the execution of deterrent parking and access and habilitation of waste separation containers in this pinariega locality.
The Public Sector Contracting Platform last week collected the publication of the modification of the document of sheets of these works that come to tender in the amount of 395,000 euros and an execution period of nine months.
The point of sale for meat products, parking spaces that allow vehicles not to have to park in the center of the town and waste separation containers are part of the project “Vinuesa en tu mesa”, of the City of Vinuesa, which are financed by the Spain Can Plan.
This project is part of the programme of aid for support to commercial activity in rural areas of the Lever V Policy (Modernization and digitalization of the industrial fabric and of the SME, recovery of tourism and impulse to a Spain entrepreneurial nation), in Component 13 of the Plan, called “Impulse to the SME”, specifically in investment 4, of support to the trade sector in the local economy.
According to the specifications, the basis of the project is to adapt the commercial sector of Vinuesa to the two main transformations that are taking place in both the economic and social environment: the digital transformation and the ecological and sustainable transition.
The overflow in the attention of orders of the shops of Vinuesa, mainly the butchers, who are forced to close the physical store in some moments to prepare the telephone orders; the loss of opportunity to extend the sale to other territories through the online sale of specialized and typical products of Vinuesa such as pastries, red fruits, mushrooms, etc. which are currently bought by tourists who come to Vinuesa and its neighbours; the stagnation in the traditional business models of the shops; the loss of generational relief; the stagnation of the population and a need to improve the management of the waste of the shops; are the main needs to be met through this project.
