February 7, 2024.- The Subdelegate of the Government in Zamora, Ángel Blanco, participated this Wednesday in the inauguration of the III Forum Company-Superior Polytechnic School of Zamora (EPSZ), in the Viriato campus. In his speech, the subdelegate defended the transfer of knowledge as a lever of modernization to promote social and economic progress in the province of Zamora.
Ángel Blanco recalled that the transfer of knowledge between universities and companies is a primary objective of the Spanish university system and has valued that the spirit of these conferences is perfectly aligned with this goal promoted by the Government, for which he has congratulated the organizers.
The subdelegate referred to the ‘Transfer and collaboration plan: science and innovation at the service of society’ that the Government of Spain develops within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR). This government plan has mobilized in the last year a public budget of 1.2 billion euros to strengthen the links between the public and private sector in R+D+I, increase the socio-economic impact of public investment in research and boost the innovative capacity of companies.
