1 February 2024.- Adif will allocate 23.3 million euros to the maintenance of traffic control facilities and complementary systems of the Madrid-Valladolid high-speed line (LAV) for the period 2024-2028.
The works, now contracted, contemplate the maintenance of the facilities, from interlocks, to track circuits, detour drives and needle position checkers, lateral signaling, ASFA, Centralized Traffic Control (CTC), ERTMS N1, ERTMS N2, power systems, detectors, etc.
The action will contribute to strengthening the railway operation on the high-speed line, preserving the conditions of the circulation, the reliability of the facilities and the comfort of the passengers.
The activities will be carried out from the maintenance centers of Madrid Chamartín, Soto del Real (Madrid), Segovia, Olmedo (Valladolid) and Valladolid.
The works will be carried out by the UTE integrated by GTS Transportation Spain and Industrial Systems and Assemblies.
This action contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), which has among its goals the development of reliable, sustainable, resilient and quality infrastructures.
