January 25, 2024.- Renfe and the City of Valladolid have today renewed their alliance in Fitur to give continuity to the Train of José Zorrilla, and they have done so after the signing of the commercial agreement ratified this morning by the Councilor of Tourism, Events and City Brand, Blanca Jiménez Cuadrillero, and the director of the Business Area of Neighbourhoods and Other Public Services of Renfe, José Ignacio Rodríguez.
This thematic train will start the season in the month of February, with a departure every Saturday until November. Travelers can spend a cultural and tourist day in the city of Valladolid enjoying its gastronomic offer, monuments, museums and its heritage. The tourist proposal includes the Avant train ticket from Madrid to Valladolid, in a trip enlivened by a group of actors who bring the universe of the poet and playwright José Zorrilla to the travelers.
In addition, by presenting the Renfe ticket at the Tourist Office, the visitor can request for free the tourist card "Valladolid Card" (with access to the Tourist Bus and up to nine museums in the city) or enjoy the guided tour "Rivers of Light", which tours the main monuments, squares and avenues and the city center at dusk.
The ticket for the Train of José Zorrilla allows the tourist to return that same day or, if you prefer, stay overnight in Valladolid to take advantage of your stay in the city and return to Madrid the next day.
