January 08, 2024.- The Rope of the Well reservoir currently contains 198,348 cubic hectometers of water, 79.73 percent of its total capacity amounting to 248,776 cubic hectometers. Last week it contained 192,806 cubic hectares, 77.50%.
Last year at the same time, this reservoir of the Douro river basin collected 121,149 cubic hectares of water, 48.70 percent of its capacity.
The average daily output of water is currently 5.50 cubic meters per second. The water balance of the week was 5,542 cubic hectares.
The rainfall recorded last week in the reservoir area reaches 32.60 liters per square meter.
