December 19, 2023.- The Council of Ministers, at its meeting today, authorized the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility to tender a contract for the preventive maintenance and repair of structures of the State Road Network in Castilla y León, with an estimated value of 11.4 million euros (VAT not included).
The contract affects the demarcation of Castilla y León Oriental (provinces of Burgos, Ávila, Segovia and Soria) to facilitate greater efficiency in the provision of the service, each of them constituting a functional unit, since they are clearly delimited areas:
The term of duration of the contract will be 3 years with the possibility of an extension of up to 24 months.
The object of the contract is the maintenance and conservation of the structures (large bridges, bridges, pontoons, walkways and lower pedestrian passages), through the execution of four very specific types of action:
- Replacement of support devices.
- Adaptation of the containment system.
- Repairs of the drainage system and desconchones in paraments.
- In beam board bridges: replacement of beams or their repair.
These activities do not exclude the execution of other conventional repairs of the elements to achieve the main objective of the intervention.
The scope of action is all works of passage of lights equal to or greater than 3 meters of concrete, factory, metallic and mixed.
