December 13, 2023.– A total of 120 institutions, including mainly municipalities throughout the province of less than 5,000 inhabitants, which are also joined by the Provincial Council and a community, have already adhered to the protocol promoted by the General Secretariat of European Funds of the Ministry of Finance and Public Function, to receive information and technical assistance related to the application process for the aid of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).
This advisory process is being done through a team of Tragsatec - one of the companies that make up the Tragsa Group - that assists smaller municipalities so that they can participate in the public calls for the PRTR, a strategy launched by the Government of Spain to channel the European funds Next Generation EU.
“It is a very positive fact that about 120 municipalities throughout the province are being advised to know how to access European funds, which since mid-2021 have left more than 150 million euros in the province,” said the subdelegate, Fernando Galeano, after having a meeting with the manager of Tragsa in the province, Roberto Ocón, today in the Subdelegation.
Direct aid from the Government of Spain from the PRTR funds to municipalities with less than 5,000 inhabitants exceeds 210 million euros in Castilla y León and 442 municipalities are benefited throughout the community. To this aid must be added those that the Government has transferred to the Board so that it is the regional government that manages them.
