El Imserso offers in Castilla y León 12,434 places for the program ‘Termalismo 2024’
The new edition maintains the 192,000 places of the previous year
December 4, 2023.- The Institute of Elderly and Social Services (Imserso) under the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030, has given the green light to a new edition of the ‘Thermalism Program 2024’ with a total of 192,000 places, of which 12,434 are allocated in Castilla y León.
A program that will be developed between the months of February and December and that offers in Castilla y León a total of 12,434 places. By province, Valladolid and León will have 2,509 places each, followed by Salamanca (1,769), Burgos (1,762), Zamora (1,043), Palencia (848), Ávila (835), Segovia (710) and Soria (449).
An offer that will be distributed among 85 spas throughout the national territory, being Galicia the one with the largest thermal offer, with a total of 18 establishments, followed by Aragón, with eleven, and Aragón and Extremadura, both with nine.
For their part, in Castilla y León the beneficiaries can enjoy stays in a total of six spas, those of Caldas de Luna (León), Corconte (Burgos) Retortillo and Ledesma (Salamanca) and the two spas located in Almeida de Sayago (Zamora)
To participate in the program, interested parties will have until January 10, 2024 to reserve a place for the shifts from February to August. For inclusion on the waiting list, the deadline remains open until May 14. For their part, those who are interested in the shifts from September to December will be able to submit the application until May 15 and until November 15 for inclusion in the waiting list.
Applications can be submitted electronically in https://sede.imserso.gob.es as well as in the electronic registers, in any assistance office in the matter of registers or through the offices of Correos in the section of Correos number 61.285 -28080 Madrid: Program of Thermalism of the Imserso.
The trips foreseen in the program of Thermalism of the Imserso contemplate a lathe of 12 days and 11 nights and another of 10 days and nine nights. The trips are made on a full-board basis, in double rooms and include basic thermal treatments prescribed by the health clinics of the spas.
The treatments include medical examination upon entering the spa for the prescription of the treatment, thermal treatment that, in each case, is prescribed by the spa doctor, and medical monitoring of the treatment. Leisure and leisure activities offered free of charge by the spa are also included, as well as an insurance policy.
The program maintains the 192,000 places of the previous edition, most of them in Andalusia (31,086), Catalonia (30,265), Madrid (25,178), Comunidad Valenciana (20,702), Galicia (13,965) and Castilla y León (12,434).
It is followed by Basque Country (10,284 places), Castilla-La Mancha (8,011), Canary Islands (7,719), Aragon (5,864), Asturias (5,467), Region of Murcia (5,039), Extremadura (4,553), Balearic Islands (3,970), Cantabria (2,734), Navarre (2,722), La Rioja (1,388), Ceuta (214) and Melilla (203).
The Imserso will contribute to the financing of the cost of the seats with a contribution ranging from 144.20 euros to 234.31 euros, depending on the type of shift and month of development. This contribution will be made directly by the Imserso to the thermal establishment.
