Renfe reaches in Castilla y León the 87,000 free subscriptions issued for Neighbourhoods and Media Distancia and Avant bonds at 50%

• Of the total number of titles issued, almost 60,000 correspond to free subscriptions for the services of Media Distancia and Cerca Ancho Metric • Free titles can be obtained at any time during its term, and it is necessary that the client is previously registered

October 30, 2023.- Renfe has issued in Castilla y León 87,043 free subscriptions for the services of Proxias Ancho Metric and Media Distancia, and 50% bonus Avant bonuses, to travel from September 1 to December 31, 2023. These subscriptions can be purchased at any time during their period of validity.
Of the total number of free tickets issued, 746 correspond to tickets for travel on the Short-Range Metric Width Leon-Guardo line, while 58,777 are tickets for Medium Distance.
In addition to the free subscriptions for regular travellers, Renfe has also issued 27,500 Avant vouchers 50% bonus for high-speed travel on the Alicante-Segovia-Madrid corridor, in addition to the new relations declared OSP (Public Service Obligation) provided on the high-speed network in Castilla y León, for which recurring travellers can use Avant vouchers.
Nationally, Renfe has reached two million free subscriptions and half-priced Avant bonuses. Of the total number of titles issued to travel during this last quarter of the year, 1,441,195 correspond to subscriptions to travel through the different centers of Neighbourhoods, Rodalies and Neighbourhoods Metric Width; 496,395 are subscriptions for Conventional Medium Distance services; and 67,931 correspond to Avant bonds at 50% discount.

Media Distancia subscriptions can be purchased on the Renfe website quickly and easily. Although it is free, it is necessary to deposit a deposit of 10 euros in the case of Neighbourhoods and Rodalies, and 20 euros for each conventional Media Distancia service. The payment by card allows the automatic return of the deposit, once it is established that the condition of having made 16 trips during these four months has been fulfilled.
