Renfe emits in Castilla y León more than 60,000 recurring subscriptions to travel in Media Distancia, Cerca y servicios Avant to 50%, in the last four months of the year

October 2, 2023.- Renfe has issued to date more than 60,000 recurring subscriptions to travel in the services of Cerca and Media Distancia de Castilla y León, as well as 50% Avant credits. Multi-travel certificates, valid until December 31, can be purchased at any time during their validity period.

Of the 60,718 subscriptions issued by Renfe in the first month of the last quarter of the year, the majority, just over 45,600, correspond to journeys of the Media Distancia network in the community. A total of 582 subscriptions are available for travel on the services of Cerca de León/Guardo.

Renfe has issued 14,454 Avant (medium distance in high speed) subscriptions, 50% bonus, for the different internal connections of Castilla y León and those that link this community with Madrid and Galicia (Ourense and A Gudiña). Throughout the country, Renfe has issued 1.6 million free subscriptions for Neighbourhoods, Rodalies and Media Distancia.

Subscriptions can be purchased through the usual Renfe channels. In addition, Media Distancia subscriptions can also be purchased through the Renfe website.

To purchase the subscription, although it is free, it is necessary to deposit a deposit of 10 euros in the case of Neighbourhoods and 20 euros for each conventional Media Distancia service. The payment by card allows the automatic return of the deposit, once it is established that the condition of having made 16 trips during these four months has been fulfilled.
