September 26, 2023.- The Local Security Board of Soria, co-chaired by the Deputy Delegate of the Government, Miguel Latorre, and the Mayor of Soria, Carlos Martínez, has focused especially on coordinating the corresponding measures to be carried out in the events of greater public concurrence during the next patron saint festivities of San Saturio.
In this Board held in the City of Soria, the lieutenant colonel of the Command of the Civil Guard, Sergio Peñarroya, as well as leaders of the National Police Station, the Local Police of Soria, the Firefighters and the Civil Protection section of the territorial delegation of the JCyL have also been present.
As has been usual in the Local Security Boards, the Government's deputy delegate recalled at the meeting that, to the usual actions foreseen in the Plan of Prevention, Protection and Anti-Terrorist Response for the current Level "4" of activation, other measures of special intensity should be added.
Among the concerts that have taken the special attention is the one that will take place on Tuesday, October 3, from 9:00 pm in the main square with the performance “La Love You”, a punk pop music group originating from Parla (Madrid). It is also worth mentioning the show on Saturday night, “Los 40 Club Sessions San Saturio”with DJ Noys, Dani Moreno, Cristina Boscá and Christian San Bernardino.
On the other hand, in order to prevent sexual assaults, the Department of Equality and Gender Perspective of the City of Soria makes available to citizens the Violeta Point in which it is defined as an information and awareness resource aimed at the population in general and of reception, support, orientation and referral for women who have suffered any type of sexual violence and, where appropriate, sexist or gender-motivated assaults. The Violet Spot Tent will be placed during the following days and places:

- Saturday, September 30: 23.00h-3.30h (Plaza del Rosel and San Blas)
- Monday, October 2nd: 24.00h-3.30h (Plaza del Rosel and San Blas)

- Tuesday, October 3rd: 24.00h-3.30h (Mariano Granados)
- Thursday, October 5th: 24.00h-3.30h (Plaza del Salvador, in a pedestrian area in front of a grocery store and clinic)
