Virginia Barcones visits the works to improve accessibility to the Government Subdelegation

September 22, 2023.- The delegate of the Government in Castilla y León, Virginia Barcones, has visited the works that since last 11 are developed in the Subdelegation of the Government of Salamanca and that are executed by the Ministry of Territorial Policy. These actions have an execution period of six months and a budget of 449,042 euros.

Virginia Barcones has known the works that are carried out in the Subdelegation of Salamanca, an execution with which the access to a lobby that will be redistributed will be varied. In this sense, the location of the control area will be changed, the accesses will be unified and a new elevator will be installed. With the performance, in which attention will be paid to lighting and homogenization of finishes, a unitary image of the main hall and the circulation spaces of the ground floor will be obtained.

During the works, the Aliens Office and the Citizen Information Office will be located in a Social Security building located on the Paseo Doctor Torres Villarroel. In particular, they will occupy 702 square meters that are on the ground, first and second floors of said building.
