The Follow-up Commission ratifies the allocation of works to the municipalities of the Agricultural Employment Promotion Program
The works will begin on October 16th
September 5, 2023.- The Follow-up Commission of the Agricultural Employment Promotion Program (PFEA) in depressed rural areas for the year 2023 has met in the Government Subdelegation in order to ratify the allocation of works to the 22 municipalities participating in this program.
The deputy delegate of the Government in Zamora, accompanied by the general secretary of the institution, has chaired the commission. The vice-presidency of the same falls to the Provincial Management of ECYL. The deputy director of benefits of the Public Service of State Employment, the representative of the municipalities of the Regional Council of Toro, as well as members of CEOE – CEPYME, CC have also been present. OO. and UGT- FICA.
The Agricultural Employment Promotion Program, which will begin on October 16, 2023 and end on February 14, 2024, is a subsidized program that aims to hire unemployed workers, preferably agricultural contingents, to carry out works of general and social interest, such as conservation and maintenance of the rural, forest, heritage and environmental environment and to improve the infrastructures of the villages. The appropriation allocated for 2023 amounts to 771,758.47 euros, 5.35% that in 2022 and a total of 91 agricultural unemployed will be hired for 122 days full-time.
Job offers will be presented at ECYL from September 18 to 22.
In this year the Monitoring Committee of the Agricultural Employment Promotion Program has approved all the construction works requested by the municipalities and not carried out in previous years. No cleanings or clearances have been admitted, nor those requests that were not related to the application agreement that, as established in the Regional Council of Toro, is the collective construction agreement. No works of cleaning, weeding and pruning of trees have been admitted.
